Teacher-parent meetings
In Bulgaria, it is accepted that every school holds regular teacher-parent meetings during which teachers are able to discuss the progress of each student with their parents. It is important for parents to attend so they can learn directly from the teachers what challenges their children and which study areas they excel in. Teacher-parent meetings also provide a forum to discuss the school environment as a whole. In case you are unable to attend or face difficulties communicating with teachers, it is important for you to seek assistance from the social worker/mediator you are in contact with.
