This Autumn, Dada Cultural Bar and Multi Kulti Collective team up for a new exciting initiative: Multi Kulti Brunches* hosted by talented foreign chefs from all over the world! We will not only be able to enjoy an exclusive selection of super tasty authentic foreign options served buffet style but also experience foreign cultures without leaving Sofia. Our second brunch is part of the KvARTal Festival 2017.
In a nutshell:
- What: Iraqi brunch + small cultural program
- Host: The international superstar Freddy Beniamin from Ashurbanipal restaurant
- When: 17 September 2017, 11:00-13:00
- Where: DADA Cultural Bar (Sofia, 10 Georgi Benkovski Str.)
- Fattoush salad – lots of fresh vegetables, herbs and pita chips for croutons
- Makhlama – ground beef omelette with onions, tomatoes, parley and spices
- Dolma – vegetarian version of the famous stuffed vegetables with rice
- Potato balls – stuffed with tasty mixture of walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashew, peanuts and spices
- Sambusak – savory Middle Eastern turnover pastry hand-pies stuffed with potatoes, peas and lots of spices
- Freddy’s date bread – very soft bread with dates, nuts and special topping
There are only 40 tickets – 25 Bulgarian leva per person. The ticket includes access to a buffet area with 6 brunch options (1 salad, 4 savoury dishes, 1 dessert – see description above), coffee, Middle Eastern black tea and water. Additional drinks are purchased at the bar.
The income from the event will be used for Multi Kulti Collective’s non-profit initiatives supporting the integration of migrants and refugees in Bulgaria. Thank you!
